    This is how Boston was 80-100 years ago when it snowed:


    1916 - snow removal after a big storm on Tremont street.. This is park street T station lol

    I'm thinking either people these days are spoiled, or people back then didn't complain as much. I'm just glad we don't have to deal with plows not existing!

    People lived near work and often didn't have cars. The streets could be entirely full of snow and people could still walk to work. I don't think the suburbs were 'invented' until after WWII.
