So I picked up my new iPhone last week... Anything I need to get for this thing? I have $24 left in unspent iTunes cash.
Any cool apps? Any games? Any cases, etc etc etc... hook me up

Flick fishing ... It will take over your life ... Sooo sik tho
theres a free app called shazam. When you here a song on the radio that you dont know, it records it and sends it into itunes or w/e and comes back with the name and artist. Doesnt sound that cool but it helps alot. Urban spoon and open table are good. Get a new app for weather because the Iphone one is a POS. Oh and google earth is always fun.
Pete,
Got mine the same day as you I think....but so far...
I got a case from cingular, if you're like me I recommend getting it. Hard thick plastic encases the phone, then a rubber part goes over that....and the screen and all in covered in plastic....it's very durable (50 bucks at the cingular store) belt clip doesn't hold phone in too well, but I don't really use it. I have the facebook and AIM application, downloaded the Pandora one today....pretty cool, I put in "staind" and it acts like a radio station and plays music related to the genre (all of them free)
Cool "Info" and suggestions. I have a feeling that mi-espousa has one waiting for me at home![]()

Word is that Apple will not be renewing their contract with at&t for exclusive rights.
They know that Verizon is where its at, and apparently its going to come to Verizon.
Saw it on the news last week...I dunno if I'd like the Blackberry to iphone switch but if it comes to Verizon I may have to do it.
I hear the iphone is extremely addicting, more so than the crackberry
8 replies and NOT A SINGLE MENTION ABOUT PORN.
PORN
Sweet, I'll be checking all of those out today
I would not, I repeat would NOT give up my BlackBerry for an iPhone, this is great as a second device though
cmon man, if you are that desperate that you need porn on your iPhone, you have bigger problems
and an iPhone under verizon I bet would be bad... verizon likes having a lot of control over there devices, so does apple... its bound to fail
I've had them all and you're right. Once you own a Blackberry and get use to utilizing it's features, you try to compare all other phones to it. I'm doing my 30 day trial of the Palm Pre right now and it's an awesome phone. When you hook it up to iTunes it comes up as Palm Pre but works like the iPod. There's some things they need to work on but hopefully an update soon will cure all issues.
I have a Palm Pre on order... as soon as it comes in I'll be playing with that for a couple weeks.
edit: I have just been informed, my Palm Pre is in the building

That's exactly what I'm doing. It's a very nice phone, the camera is really good, the Sprint TV is SICK, Sprint NAV is the BEST and I guess there are a few things that need work but really it's a great phone. One thing that's a problem is that there isn't a way to multi-delete emails. You can't forward virtual contacts and the COPY & PASTE works but not from the text messages. Oh the format of your emails are changed once it's sent throught the PRE.
That's right. Maybe within' my 30 day trial period they'll have some sort of update to change all of these. I've been on the Palm forum, waiting and reading all the info on this phone. Oh...it seems to get warm on the back. Let me know if you experience this with yours. Some other Pre users did.
In about a week you can download an update for your phone, allows you to send and recive multi media messages
So that's what the cingular guy says
