    whoa, 4g huh.. if 3g is comparable to regular broadband, 4g is like fios..?

    i didnt know about the 3g iphone not working with t-mobiles 3g network.. good thing i didnt upgrade my 2g to 3g and try to use it.

    my buddy has a T-Mobilized iPhone. Not sure if it 3g or not.

    I updated to 3.0, then did a restore, then restored backup since my phone was Jailbroken on 2.2.1 earlier. Waiting for 3.0 jailbreak
    The unlock scheduled to come out Friday better be on time, I have to use my phone abroad soon.

    Finally search is available in mail app! Scroll down after opening mail. I hated not having it

    Who do you pay for the service to use it overseas? Do you just throw in an overseas sim card?

    I just put in an overseas SIM card. I used to have a monthly plan back in Hong Kong but I've been going back less and less. Now I'm going to get a pay-as-you-go SIM card there but I want unlimited 3G data. It's so hard to find! The cheapest unlimited data plan on pay-as-you go is $100/month. No way! Or $2/MB... no way

    Damn, I figured Data would be a b!tch to have overseas. i'm thinking of getting an older version iphone that's been jailbroken just to mess around with(maybe only get a data plan-is that possible?)

    AT&T users don't have tethering enabled by default...

    Tested on my phone and new tethering options shows up after the quick mod in safari. Just plug phone into computer and internet connection is tethered automatically
