Many of you know me from the Volvo circles, but my new toy changes that up a bit. I just picked up my first BMW today. Here she is!

    2012 BMW 335is
    Alpine White/Coral Red
    19" wheels, DCT, all packages/options

Hope to meet some more of you guys at upcoming meets!

Thanks for the kind words everyone.

I specifically picked out the 335is because of the fact that they reintroduced a more powerful N54, twin turbo engine to the 3-series, and coupled it with the DCT transmission. The negligible performance gain, higher insurance and gas costs steered me away from the M3. Plus, the N54 is much easier to tune than the N55 and V8 engines!

I test drove a Z4 35is (with same engine and transmission) before I decided this was the perfect drivetrain combination for me. I hope to see you guys in some of the upcoming shows in the area.

The M3 does have better performance, it's just that it doesn't add much value to your needs- it has superior suspension, driveline (limited slip diff), brakes and driving dynamics that make a difference in certain usage. This of course is covered a lot already in a million threads so it's not worth debating.

Now my trolling aside, very nice car!! They sound so good stock too!

A little birdy told me m3's have hidden attributes that cause you to crash into tree's and stuff too!
