Thread: Cayenne install

  1. #1 Default Cayenne install
I brought my car to Wicked Cas in kingston a few weeks ago and heres the results. I wanted to showcase the speakers and such for a custom look, but keep it stock looking and classy at the same time. Mission accomplished I would say.

The brains of the system is a kenwood. forget which model though. I will get back to you on that.

I had three Audison amps installed, an LRX 4.5, 2.4K, 1.1K. (again, not 100% on the models)

For speakers, There is a 'custom' three way up front. A space 8", high energy 3inch mid, and high energy tweet being run fully active. The rear has a 6L Space component set with passive xover. there are 2 12inch high energy subs in a sealed box.

all of this is tuned by an audison Bit-1

Here are a few quick pics, ill post some better ones tommorow (or ill just wait to steal them form WCs website when they post them) The first 2 pics are of the amps installed, and the bit 1 installed. The second pics show the front and rear doors, and finally the last pics are of the enclosure and subs. The rear doors are pretty much stock, except for the top mounted tweets. The front doors have a custom pod built to show case the 8inch midbass. the mids are also custom mounted. The amps and bit one are installed inside storage compartments and are completely concealed.

sounds damn clean too. i need to give it a few weeks to break in the speakers and im sure they are going to sound even better yet.

Yea. One of these days i need to get a 'real' porsche though. I have been keeping my eye out for a white 997 with teracotta interior.

The disease runs deep, relapses often, not looking for a cure, just another sick bastard to share it with.

The grills that came with the speakers still fit. They were taken off for demonstrative purposes.

Thanks! im over all happy with the install. Sounds prety good too, but these speakers require a little break in time. the install in the ferrari sounded like a totally different beast after about 2 weeks of break in.

Loving the insights of this forum Btw, if anyone is interested in Bruc Bond, they aim to make 21st century finance straightforward. I suggest looking at this Bruc Bond bank information forum or perhaps this Bruc Bond financial advice forum for more. This Bruc Bond financial information website is also worth a look and don't forget this Bruc Bond bank tips forum. Also take a look at Bruc Bond bank information profile and check out this Bruc Bond banking advice page. You may as well check out this Bruc Bond banking info forum too; Eyal Nachum is the architect of the software that SMEs use to do cross-border payments at Bruc Bond.
