I figured this would be a good place to post this

Heidis at a co workers going away party so I'm forever alone for a few hours.

I just prepped dinner for when she gets back, and decided to have a cigar and scotch while I'm waiting. 15 minutes in, boredom and hunger strike. Off to the kitchen to see what we have. I make myself a little plate of cheese and carrs crackers. Let's see, I have some pecorino romano, smoke guda, Brie, port wine wispride and muenster.

I never realized how good cheese is as a snack.

    That is all

I've had a block of pecorino Romano sitting in the fridge for a while. I don't like it on pasta because it gets kind of 'gritty' and the textures don't gel well IMO.

But, I just realized it's amazing on its own. Its decently sharp and highly addicting.

I had some great local goat cheese and locally made salami while I was in Napa last week.

Good cheese is good. Definitely a luxury most people don't realize they will appreciate
    Oh Yeah!
