  1. #1 Default Post something from your job....
    That will most likely make absolutely NO sense to most other people...

    I'll post two...

    First... A report generator code chunk in Visual Studio
    this.Cursor = Cursors.WaitCursor;
    String strConfiguration = lbConfiguration.SelectedItem.ToString();

    String strUnitGuid = Convert.ToString(alUnitGuids[lbUnits.SelectedIndex]);
    String strUnit = lbUnits.SelectedItem.ToString();

    DataTable oDataTable = new DataTable();
    String strSQLCommand = "Select ConfigurationGuid from Configurations where Name = '" +
    strConfiguration + "'";
    _oChampionDBService.GetSQLDataTableFromString(strS QLCommand, ref oDataTable);
    String strConfigurationGuid = oDataTable.Rows[0].ItemArray[0].ToString();

    String strMachineName = _oChampionDBService.GetMachineName();
    DateTime dtStartDate =
    new DateTime(calStartDate.SelectionRange.Start.Year, calStartDate.SelectionRange.Start.Month, calStartDate.SelectionRange.Start.Day, 0, 0, 0);
    DateTime dtEndDate =
    new DateTime(calEndDate.SelectionRange.Start.Year, calEndDate.SelectionRange.Start.Month, calEndDate.SelectionRange.Start.Day, 23, 59, 59);

    oDataTable.Reset();
    strSQLCommand = "Select isnull(sum(Quantity), 0) from JobStepCounts where unitguid = '" + strUnitGuid +
    "' and ProcessedDate between '" + dtStartDate.ToString() + "' and '" + dtEndDate.ToString() +"'";
    _oChampionDBService.GetSQLDataTableFromString(strS QLCommand, ref oDataTable);
    And a detection SQL script I'm working on...
    --Find if Shoe Stuff Sensor Exists
    SELECT @ShoeStuffSensorGuid = IoPoints.IoPointGuid
    FROM Configurations INNER JOIN
    Configurations_Nodes ON Configurations.ConfigurationGuid = Configurations_Nodes.ConfigurationGuid INNER JOIN

    IoPorts ON IoRails.IoRailGuid = IoPorts.IoRailGuid INNER JOIN
    IoPoints ON IoPorts.IoPortGuid = IoPoints.IoPortGuid
    WHERE (IoPoints.SignalId = '500') and Configurations.ConfigurationGuid = @ConfigurationGuid

    --If Shoe Stuff Sensor Exists go to next config
    If @ShoeStuffSensorGuid is not null
    goto XX

    SELECT @ShoeHomePortGuid = IoPoints.IoPortGuid
    FROM Configurations INNER JOIN
    Configurations_Nodes ON Configurations.ConfigurationGuid = Configurations_Nodes.ConfigurationGuid INNER JOIN
    Nodes ON Configurations_Nodes.NodeGuid = Nodes.NodeGuid INNER JOIN

    IoPorts ON IoRails.IoRailGuid = IoPorts.IoRailGuid INNER JOIN
    IoPoints ON IoPorts.IoPortGuid = IoPoints.IoPortGuid
    WHERE (IoPoints.SignalId = '160') and Configurations.ConfigurationGuid = @ConfigurationGuid

    print 'Shoe Home Port Guid: ' + convert(varchar(50), @ShoeHomePortGuid)

    SELECT @ShoeHomeRailGuid = IoPorts.IoRailGuid
    FROM Configurations INNER JOIN
    Configurations_Nodes ON Configurations.ConfigurationGuid = Configurations_Nodes.ConfigurationGuid INNER JOIN
    Nodes ON Configurations_Nodes.NodeGuid = Nodes.NodeGuid INNER JOIN

    some cheats been playing it all morning lol.

    Purchase a car, then sell it at the original price. Refuse the buyer's offer,
    then offer the same price to them again. Refuse the second offer, then offer a
    price of $22,001.
    Before you buy something, repeatedly press [F1]. Then, buy the item
    you want. You will then receive $1,000 for each time that [F1] was
    pressed.

    Powershell to update employeeID's on AD from our HR systems (good luck on figuring it out comments hint hint):

    # Initializing variable to a null value but as an array
    $nosam = @()

    # IMport CSV and loop for each line
    Import-Csv "d:\updateid.csv" | ForEach-Object {
    # Search for a specific account name in the entire directory structure,
    # if found, $user takes the value of the specific user
    # else, $user will be affected a null because nothing is return from the Get-QADUser cmdlet
    $user = Get-QADUser -sAMAccountName $_.sAMAccountName
    # If $user is not null, enter in the IF.
    # No need to compare it like "-ne $null" because once it contains a value, it will enter in the IF
    If ($user) {
    # Pipe the content of $user into the Set-QADUser to define his EmployeeID
    $user | Set-QADUser -objectAttributes @{employeeID=$_.EmployeeID}
    } Else {
    # If no user is found in the domain with the specified sAMAccountName, the value which was got from the CSV
    # will be added to the $nosam array for a later use. $_ represent the current object in a foreach loop.
    $nosam += $_
    }
    }
    # $nosam array will contain all the "lines from CSV" for those who no user was resolved in the domain
    # and it will be exported as a new CSV
    $nosam | Export-Csv "d:\NosAm.csv" -NoTypeInformation

    I can't post anything in this thread because there's a 99.9% chance that doing so could violate HIPAA regulations. Or just be random numbers out of a spreadsheet.
