Inskip installed the Supercharger on my V8 R8 when they were a Stasis dealer. Then they screwed up my car performing a simple oil change so wont be using them again. I know I can do the Stasis kit at Audi Norwell and get a warranty but how does it work when it's got the VF brand on it?

I do know that Stasis and VF use the same kit for that application, I beleive they developed it together. I think you may be right in that only the Stasis kit has a warranty but I'll send an email to VF to clarify.

Thanks, VF had the kit out for awhile and then made some deal with Stasis and then they just stamp Stasis on them. Pretty sure no way to get warranty on VF and thats why it is about $5k more for Stasis. Might be something I would look into after I use a chunk of my warranty and make sure my car is problem free

scott just had it delayed, it never ended. takes time to break it to the hearts of umass amherst kids that the supercharger cost 1yr tuitions for them

Had the Tubi on a week after buying, then after saying it needed nothing else I did the tune. Sure car seems great now and I don't think it needs anything else but by going with my history I think we know where this will end

He admits it, by next year it could be a go then. I am sure Tom could get you a waaaaay better price on the Stasis unit which could then be installed at the dealer

Unfortunately it's a little more complicated than we originally thought and there's some propreitary info I had to fill Scott in with.

Of course, the R8 kit is the only kit with this issue.
