Thread: Carbon Fiber Shift Knob

Results 1 to 18 of 18
  1. #1 Default Carbon Fiber Shift Knob
Other than my steering wheel I don't have any C/F in my interior but thinking about buying this knob, think it would go good with wheel? Also my C/F shift cap will still be able to go on top. The knurled knob I have now can get irritating on palm and think this would feel better.

Yea you guys are right, when I first checked out these pictures of their stuff even I thought it was way over the top http://www.r8talk.com/forums/7-appea...e-leather.html

Have seen my shifter with just a leather band, will look for that

I agree with Pete and Wes. I don;t know how but that knob actually cheapens the interior.

shockingly, I agree with John. Stay with a weighted knob.

Some CF looks good, some CF looks like kitschy plastic crap. This definitely falls into the second category, and I think it's a combination of the shape and finish.

I think a black alcantera shift knob with red stitching and the top in carbon fiber would be perfect

wtf is going on, scott is waiting before buying mods rather than immediately buying, then people are saying no to CF

possible sign that the world is ending

Don't need that, I already feel my need to grab a big knob is due to latent homosexual tendencies

Pretty sure I asked here first because even I thought it was gaudy looking. I need to search for one I saw before, it is what I have now but has cf band where the knurled portion is
