Well- more taxes from our liberal government leaders.
Deval Patrick's new "the rich pay more" tax plan was unveiled.

For those of us making more than $102k/year would pay an additional $3200 or more in taxes per year, than currently paying.

For those making less than $25,000/year- they will only be taxed on about $16k/year- and pay about 400-600 less in yearly taxes.

Well- considering I paid Massachusetts $7600last year in taxes- I can't wait to pay $10,800/year. OR $900/mo.

Not sure how they can up with that extra $3200 on 102k. an extra 1% of 102k isn't 3200

They changed it. It now says "pay more in combined income and sales tax"

How the hell to they estimate that.

Just a way to assure that lower income people wont see much of an increase if any at all. In Obama style this is going after the higher earners and will continue to allow almost 50% of people to pay no taxes

    My thoughts on MA tolls...

Mass Pike Tolls: Take them down.
    Tobin Bridge: Take them down.
Ted Williams, Callahan: Take them down.
Etc...ALL TOLLS that are currently in use: Take them down.

Install NEW tolls, on all highways that go into MA. Charge something obscene, like $10 per/car. You want to come into MA, you pay. I bet this will seriously offset people going to NH to avoid sales tax every weekend, or people who work in MA but live in NH.

    Flame on!

Why do you want to stop people from working in MA that live in NH? They still pay MA income tax

the tolls to get over the dartford bridge in london was introduced to pay for the bridge, the toll money covered the cost of the bridge years ago but they still chargeh the toll, this really pisses a lot of people off

i kind of feel the same way about the pike tolls, if there needs to be a toll to cover the cost of upkeep or improving it then i guess i'm ok with it but adjust the price accordingly, dont just treat it as a huge cash cow
