There's something about those old Benz that I love. I guess it's more than just a car, it represent a time period and how ballets of that era lived.
    Oh Yeah!

They are timeless works of art, you still see design cues from the cars of then, today. About the only other brands that I can say reflect designs through all the generations are Porsche, Bugatti, Rolls, Bentley, and I dont know the older cars well enough but I bet to a lesser extent BMW and Ferrari do to? Although I think pre war cars for some of these brands were limited

I think bmw did exhibit a lot of traditions. Until someone I dislike very much ruined things. Let me see if I can find the interior pic of an E28 and a pic of a modern Pre bangle bmw ... The similarity is striking
    Oh Yeah!

I lust after one of these which is strange because I am mostly an American car guy

Wes I've always liked the 510 as well, just with an RB/SR swap

L88 coupe is epic. I have a soft spot for the 63 split window though.

No must have missed it, if I bought one I'd keep it in my living room and stare at it every day. It's perfect.

EDIT: It's a Toyota 2000GT for anyone not familiar with the car

Found a nice pic of a 3.0 CSL interior instead. Strikingly similar to a E46 CSL/3 series interior. Not just e big things like the gauges, but the shape of some of the panels, the switch to the left of the steering wheel, buttons around the shifter, and just the general layout. It's incredible to me.
