    Default 2010 gt500 – 05-22-2013,11:38 PM
    I purchased my Shelby 2010 GT500 last September with 6K miles on it. Got a smoking deal on it from a buddy that is the manager at a local Ford dealership. So I traded in my 2008 GT500 for this newer ride.

    I wanted to bring this car up to the next level, faster, better handling, better braking, etc.... Just a far superior car.

    Drivetrain
    -Ford Racing 750HP Whipple supercharger kit (running 18lbs)
    -72lb fuel injectors
    -Kenne Bell boost a pump (boosts voltage to fuel pumps)
    -3" Basanni exhaust with high flow cats
    -MGW shifter (work of art)
    -1 piece aluminum driveshaft

    Cooling
    -C&R larger heat exchanger with dual spal fans
    -larger intercooler tank

    Brakes
    -Baer 6P calipers with 14" rotors
    -stainless lines
    -2013 GT500 dust shields (better cooling than brake ducts)

    Suspension
    -Ford Racing handling pack (Tokico shocks, Ford lowering springs, Ford sway bars)
    -Shelby aluminum rear lower control arms
    -Shelby rear upper control arm
    -Fays 2 watts link
    -Forgestar wheels (20x9, 20x10.5)(custom powder coated dark grey)
    -Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires (255,35-20 front 295,30-20 rears)

    Misc stuff
    -Boss 302 tranny cooler scoop
    -2011 GT500 belly pan
    -2013 GT500 upper and lower grill
    -2013 GT500 splitter
    -Roush rocker splitters
    -2011 finned rear end cover
    -hood pistons (got rid of that damn prop rod)
    -pulled out rear, stripped, and painted it



    When I purchased the car last year.


    Ford Racing supercharger.



    C&R exchanger. I painted it black to blend in with the front of the car.


    Mmmmmmmmm brakes



    MGW shifter


    Painted rear, finned cover, and Watts link during install


    2013 grills, makes the car look evil!!!!!


    New Forgestar F14 wheels, custom powder coated dark grey.

    Does Ford really sell upgraded supercharger kits?

    Yes through ford racing. And if installed by the dealer...12/12 warranty

    Ford Racing makes just about everything for their performance cars, from big power mods like blowers and cams to suspension, etc.

    Very nice car. I dig the wheels too, they work really well with the rest of the car, colors and mods. One mean looking machine!
    1999 C43 AMG: E55 18' Monos, K&N filters, H&R Sport springs, Bilstein Sport schocks, Full LED interior, LED License plate, 8k HIDs head/fog lights, 10mm spacers, resonator + 2 sec. cats deleted, AMG license plate cover, AMG flat hood badge, matte black front grill, AMG pedals, 35% tint, yellow calipers, CF door pins, SS brake lines, Hawk HPS pads.

    Thanks for all of the compliments guys.

    Here is the graph from my 08. Exact same setup, the 10 might make a little more because of a better computer. Car made 670rwhp and 653 rwtq on 93 pump gas. I'm not a fan of running race gas. Not bad for now but I want to add headers next winter which should put it in the low to mid 700 range.



    I have some more parts going on now. I can post up some pics later. Mostly appearance stuff.
