    10 Gbps = 1,280 MB/sec so that's quite fast.. faster than any consumer storage drive I can think of.

    1Gb = 1024 Mb
    1MB = 8Mb
    Therefore 1Gb = 128 MB

    lol you guys are right. I just robo-copied a commenter on gizmodo's number.

    I think the person meant to write 10 Gbps - USB 3.1 spec is 10 Gbps in an article
