I was so excited because cheap car challenges are my favorite thing on top gear. But they really have gotten so scripted and over the top.

Its very scripted, but I still laughed when Hammond came through the door on his side. As long as the super car tests are still legitimate I'm happy

Meh. Supercar reviews are all the same. Car porn shots, power slide, rave about speed, more power slides, complain about something, more power slides.

The cheap car challenges were always awesome. Go watch the Porsche one in series 5.

The challenges, cheap car or otherwise, are the best part. The super car road trips are awesome too, when it's just clarkson sliding around the track it's kinda boring.

The scripted challenges are a bit over the top, and there is no way they actually went on a chase for 14+hours. That said, they show the typical childishness and I was genuinely surprised to see them relive their youth doing nostalgic things on tv.
    Oh Yeah!

Highlight of the p1 clip for me was when you can see blue flames coming out of the exhaust in the rain. That and the epic rooster tails of water coming up behind the thing.
