been looking for a dining table for months now and cant find anything i like, except for this.

am i that incredibly picky about a nonessential item like a dining table? or are dining tables just so ugly?

this table comes with 2 leafs, seats up to 10. comes in dozens of other finishes, but i like this finish the best (glazed mushroom / cotton)

Dining room tables either come in "old look" or "glass". This one is pretty nice, like the tapered legs.

Yeah that's the problem I'm having. Either the tables I find are way too old school traditional...or they are plain boxy "modern" ones.

I think I might get this table finally, it's at Ethan Allen.

Dining tables come in tons of different styles, if you like it buy it, if it's not the right one then keep looking.

took us 2 years to find the right one.

There's nothing wrong with being picky about dining room tables. I put dibs on one my mom bought when I was growing up, my sister is using it now until I find a place of my own.

Edit: If you're willing to spend extra money on your dinner table, check out Thos Moser. They make amazing stuff, my mom and brother both have some things by them.

holy crap thats some expensive, yet ordinary looking, stuff. wanted to stab myself in the eyes after browsing that site. all the thumbnails were all too small and everything was in the same color.

Yeah, you really have to like cherry wood. Awesome quality stuff though, and I think it's all hand made in Maine. You can sign up for a workshop where they help you through building your own piece of furniture.

Wait, you have to pay $6 grand for a table, and help with the assembly?

My hated of tall chairs is strong. Do not like when feet cannot touch ground.

I recently started working at Wayfair and get a discount. If you find something there you like I can check the price.

I made my dining room like a Mexican restaurant with a tall table and stools that I painted / distressed.

The room really only gets used when I have my New Years party. I need to paint it something more neutral if I'm going to rent the place out.

I barely know my design teams names. Been here a week.

It's 7.5% above cost. Depends on the item how good that is. Can be as high as 50-60%, can be nothing.

Justin that room actually looks really cool.

John I've been looking around quite a bit for a new recliner and found some I liked on Wayfair, might send you a PM soon. Congrats on the new job btw.
