How much would you pay to respray your front bumper. Got a quote for $600-650 and that seems a bit high.

well i only use 1 body shop. whatever he said it would cost is what i would pay. i want quality work so I have no problem paying for it. for what it's worth i have no idea what a bumper respray costs.

I'd rather not knock on the shop. I'm just trying to get an idea of what some of you may have paid for something like this. Little do I know...$650 might be realistic.

North of the city in my area it would be a bit high, but still reasonable depending on how complicated the bumper removal and attachment is.

All depends... Any big dings in the bumper that require repair? Is the paint metallic? Pearlescent? I would say if you want GOOD work done, $400-$600 is reasonable.

this. if its a new bumper off the car then there will be some prep involved but if its an old bumper then they will need to sand and prep more so all depends on the situation really.

I recently got 2 quotes for having my bumper painted. My bumper is cracked, and couldn't be repaired, so these prices are for a brand new bumper which would have less prep work.

$750- new bumper, prep work, paint installation (my bumper is cheap- about $250 shipped)
$275-300 - paint and prep of new bumper (I buy, and install it myself)

I would expect to pay anywhere between $500-750 to have a bumper resprayed. I think your quote is reasonable.

sounds reasonable for a good job being done by a good shop

Outside of Nashua, I've done Audi A8 and Range Rover bumpers for about 300 each... top quality paint materials ,which is a big chunk of price.
