So I am hosting a contest on a free lancer site for some Tshirt designs... and I think I am going to pick a winner... thoughts on these?

Silhouettes - I have an American car and BMW, but would have a Porsche and benz as well. With some type of wheel in the background of each

Modern - would use a couple different modern cars, with wheel designs from multiple manufacturers.

Not sure what to call these ones...

Engines - while the example has text, all the text will be deleted and the Tshirt will have Yuppieracing.net across the top, think Ill pick 2 or 3 engines to have this done with

Are these supposed to be YR shirts? Or just cool automotive ones?

If they're YR ones I'd try and make them as brand unspecific as you can. I still want another run of the martini glass shirts since I never got one.

what size are you? I MIGHT have something left over.

And these are going to be cool automotive YR shirts.

    i'm L/XL

And my vote is again making them as brand unspecific as possible. Silhouettes of wheels, steering wheels (Generic), brake rotors stuff like that is cool. But putting out just BMW/Merc stuff might get old. My $0.02 for what little it's worth.

E30 for some reason is being chosen by all the designers... I described the group as mostly European car with modern Japanese and American muscle owners mixed in... so in the case of like the above silhouettes... those would be done with a European car, a muscle car, a Japanese car etc

Did you ask them to incorperate the YR or Yuppieracing theme in at all?

Thats what I feel most of these are missing.

    Out of the ones shown, I like 1, 2 & 4.

I haven't given them the website addresses since most of the designers are like overseas designers. Basically the ones I like, I ask them to tweak the designs, so in the first picture it says sample text... that would be Yuppieracing.net there

here are more of the "American muscle" entries

    Engines and silhouettes are cool.

But on the engine ones ditch all the text it straight up looks awful lol. It's WAY too cluttered. I would never wear that one as it looked now. The silhouette one should also be the no text type.

Car shirts are usually tough to not make the wearer look like he lives in his mom's basement. The engine ones would be super wearable and look great if it was just the drawing and engine code below it, in the size of the "bi-turbo" font.

EDIT: the middle one of the american muscle series is also good, just need to pick an instantly recognizable car.

So the engine design one I asked him to delete all the text. and maybe use a silhouette of the V8 biturbo badge up the left side. Would then have yuppieracing.net across the top

A lot of them seem like they'd be too busy, then again I'm shying away from graphic tees in general these days.

If you want car related tee shirts fit for a yuppie they have to be basic, no text with terrible fonts (more than one of those mixed fonts, they look like they were done by a high schooler), basic photos, etc.

You can pay me later, I'll post a couple I come up with here. I couldn't find a clean YR logo file.

    I call this "the manuel"

    for the lols, PL&O
