Need to start thinking about next mod, I like the Recaro buckets that come on R8's in europe. What do you think?

No, but they look wider and more comfy than seats that were in Porsche Turbo I tested

Scott - make sure they come with all the adjustments you are looking for. My seats in the car only go front and back thats it. While they are comfy for me on a long haul they can be a bit much. Typically sport bucket don't have a lot of adjustments

Are both seats in the R8 power? If that is the drivers seat in the photo, the controls will be on the wrong side when you put it in your car. (left hand vs right hand drive). If they are both the same, well than it probably doesn't matter much unless the brackets are different.

You should do this then give me your stock seats for like...a case of beer and one of those onion pizzas from that place around the corner from your house.

Hadn't considered that. I guess you want them from somewhere in mainland Europe to get the controls in the right place.

I wouldn't buy anything before sitting in it first.

From what people have told me they very comfortable, they are not like true sports seats, just the ones that come in European cars. I think no side airbags are why they don't come on the US cars? Vendor sent me pictures of a slightly used set he has for sale

I'm a little confused since he said new they were selling for $18k and he sold some other used ones ones to people here for $12k, He said I could have these for $9k. But then I find this online? http://www.bks-tuning.com/oem-euro-a...ort-seats.html
So I need to find out what the difference is

    they look Recaro A8s?

Best advice is to sit in them before you commit.thats like a 10k mistake if you don't like them. Are they power adjustable? Bet you could drop 60lbs easily by ditching power seats, just sayin..

They are the Recaro that come as standard R8 seats in Europe cars so do have power. I'm lazy so like power, I could afford to drop 60lbs though...

I'd need to drop 60 pounds to fit in Evo X seats. That's why I wouldn't buy without a test sit.

Lol. I probably wouldn't get seats if I were you Scott. Do they plug and play? If they don't have an airbag is there an easy way to code it out on the computer?

You can always use resistors to eliminate any airbag lights.
