Any Centurion or Palladium card holders?

Apart from being a car enthusiast, I also have a credit card fetish! Anyone else?

I will probably get rid of my centurion card before the annual fee renews. The benefits have been dwindling over the years and the annual fee is now $2,500.

Keeping my palladium card though!

I got a CC offer for the visa black card, it's pretty much the same thing.

Visa Black card is issued by Barclay's and it's nothing more than a "wannabee" black. It used to just be plastic but has recently gone stainless steel. They claim to only allow the top 1% but most people (including myself) get regular offers from them. Save your money. It's one of the cards you don't want to have in your wallet.

DCU platinum cars. 3% back on gas food hotels and airfare- 9.99% apr if you want to carry a balance

Also have a Capone platinum I use for car rental and the occasional trip when it's a good Capone deal

Have a few others with different perks- but don't use them

My everyday card is usually a Chase freedom for the 5% cash back on the select categories or my IHG rewards card which offers 2 points per $1 spent on purchases at gas stations, grocery stores, and restaurants.

I have both the Centurion and the Palladium cards but most of the times just leave the Centurion at home and carry the Palladium.

They also raised the fee for household cards to $2,500/each which was the icing on the cake to say bye to this card. We got rid of my spouse's centurion card last year and I'm pretty sure I'm going to be saying goodbye to mine in a few months unless some spectacular benefits magically appear.

If you were to get a new centurion now, you'd be looking at $10,000 in fees your first year. That's a lot of fees to pay for a card that just isn't worth it. In terms of appearance, there's no doubt the palladium trumps the centurion. You can bend the centurion but the palladium has no give. The centurion weighs approximately half of the palladium.

If you guys ever want to see the card, just let me know at an event.

I refuse to pay a fee for any card! I don't fly or travel so most benefits they offer would be waste for me. I do have a Merrill Accolades AMEX that gives me Priority Pass and can use for airline/hotel if I ever do travel, also nice with $200k Limit. For everyday I use Penfed Platinum 5 points Gas, 3 Points Groceries and 1 everything else, But for the everything else I use Capital One Quicksilver 1 1/2.

Have had the card for a little over 10 years and I do make sure to use it every couple months for a small purchase so they wont close. I got that limit when things were crazy and they were throwing money at people, I took $180k at 0% for 14 months and was capped at $75 fee, put it in a 1 year 6% CD for a nice profit. I am very surprised they have not lowered my limit? Only thing they have changed is made cash advance limit $60k
