  1. #1 Default roof wrap
I am thinking of getting my roof wrapped. Any ideas for color besides basic black?

Here is the car in question:

I don't think the roof is that tricky, you may want to try it yourself.

I am basing that statement only on the knowledge that vendors sell pre-cut roof vinyl. If that's available for your car you could do ti for ~$100.

I'm waiting for him to send me some info about him and the shop but Andrew Pierce from Wrapper's Delite is the person I would talk to about vinyl work.

Also Gloss black or Carbon is what I would do...

Here is what Andrew did for my car for the rally...

I'd avoid it. Black roof only looks good on silver or white cars IMO.

Carbon vinyl just looks tacky in general.

    I hadn't considered that.

One thing about the black roof - it may increase cabin temperatures. Since you already have a pretty dark paint color it may not make much difference.

I'm probably going to do a gloss black wrap on the scion roof at some point, but there are vendors that sell pre-cut vinyl for that car.

Not sure how true that is. Or at least how big of a difference it actually make.

Yes black surface in general doesn't reflect heat compared to a white surface. But my theory is that heat inside a car is more of a greenhouse effect thru Windows.
    Oh Yeah!
