Streets 2000

So, I been talking about S2000s for quite a bit and ended up picking one up off Kev cause he got a pretty immaculate one in on a trade and in exactly the color combo i would of picked if i got one built. 2007 Grand Prix White with Black/Red Interior with about 34k on the ticker when i picked it up.

Don't think this cabin filter has ever been changed in the cars life
Out with the old and gross and new Denso air cleaner in


The air filter was not nearly as nasty but it was due for a change too


Now the VTECs, for whatever reason the zinc coating on the caps that house the springs and what nots for the Vtec solenoids just don't last and rust up. I ended up removing the top half of the vtec solenoid and sanded the surface rust off and hit it with some fresh paint.

That engine bay looks CLEEEEEAN Congrats! Will you also have more than a 100 grand under the hood? And will you be racing MK3 jettas for pinks?

The ancient stereo was in need of a bit of update. The two modern features i really wanted to have were HD Radio and Bluetooth so i could stream audio from my phone. This came in the form of the Kenwood BT762HD deck. A http://modifry.com/ DCI was also added so i could retain the dash controls that are to the left of my steering wheel.


5lbs of audio cables were removed from a previous install by the previous owner. Was odd that they left these in since the every thing else was taken out


A Modifry cellphone holder was added because there really is not much room in this car to put anything lol


Also replaced a bunch of lights with VLEDs 5000k LED bulbs cause im a ricer. Parking light, Interior Dome, Trunk, Plate, and Reverse Lights were all replaced

The unseasonably warm weather has allowed me to get one last wash and drive in before the end of the year

Thanks, I wish i had 100k to spend but i would probably be buying a house with 100k lol

Don't have a long term plan for it yet but i think my next mod will be a dash cam/rearview camera setup from a company called rear view safety.

I think for now the only power adder i want is an exhaust. Most likely going with gotunings greddy se v2 after listening to about 100 clips of different exhausts lol

Greddy is a solid choice to go with, berk makes some nice stuff as well but on the raspy side. Stay away from intakes and headers no power for the money. Hondata flashpro would be best bang for the buck.
I have a kraftwerks supercharger on mine. If you need wheel help let me know offset vs width sucks for these cars

Ahhh nice. Yea, not worried about intake side cause i don't know if i want to supercharge or not yet. As for header it would be nice to get a stainless steel piece in there but its low on the list if i actually do decide to pick one.

Yea i also noticed that offsets are terrible for this car too.

No one local closest worthwhile would be Evans tuning, but by no means local. A lot of etunes available though which are fine until you were to boost it
