This is the 2016 F1 Calender. Thinking about going to an European race this year, while the dollar is still strong against Euro. at 1 USD to 0.92 Euro, I don't think I can do Europe any/much cheaper. Waffles in Belgium in August? Any interest?

    June 19 - Baku*
    July 3 - Austria

Brazil is ridiculously cheap to go now. I hope to go to Austin though.

Would like to do British GP some day, but since they are not using Euro, I am still too poor to go to that one.

looks like the drives are calling for some form of a closed cockpit for 2017.

In the wake of the deaths of Jules Bianchi and Justin Wilson, there has been an increased effort to evaluate better solutions for improved head protection to stop drivers being so exposed.

The concept that appears to have found favour is one initially suggested by Mercedes, of a halo-style bar that wraps around the head but does not limit visibility too much.
Rendering: not necessarily the final product

This is F1, they will get creative to form a air barrier to prevent the inside from getting soaked when they are out on track.
    Oh Yeah!
