Thread: Audi HID options

  1. #1 Default Audi HID options 
    So I am upgrading the bulbs in my DD Audi, here is what I have now;

    Low (bixenon) D2S 6000k

    High- H7 3000k

    Fog- Nokya H3 yellow

    I am unsure if I should try the oddball stuff out... opinions?

    LED's throw almost no light compared to a regular fog and are mostly for looks at this point.

    '08 Audi A5 S-line... 3.2L of ozone depleting goodness.

    LED lights is absolutely horrible. These are different from the flashlight. Check the LED of this and the flashlight.. You'll see a differences.

    I'm planning to order a IS250 soon and I was wondering if it's worth the money to get the audi hid option for $800 something. Because I can add non-OEM hid kit for much less.

    umm actually no... Alot of airplanes are now using LED lights, as well as many off road outfits...

    The main problem is, that for GOOD LED lights that will put out good light output, they are still $$$... I doubt these bulbs put out good light unless they are $100+ /each.

    those are surface mount LED's - they can be very bright and actually do more than an incandescent source. the design does not make sense to me though.

    completely different design of LED... those are the kinds with the built in heatsinks and designed for high wattage...

    these are the crap you'd find lighting up a keyboard/button on something...
