    with the kids, i prefer driving my wife's mini van to anything else. In an SUV the kids are too close to me and too noisy....van has buffer space

    nothing wrong with that, I wouldn't want to hear noisy kids either...but personally I would go 3rd row seating SUV before I'd ever own or drive a minivan. I guess I've just had too many encounters with angry minivan drivers.
