  1. #1 Thumbs up WTB: Radar Detector
Hey all, now that I updated my system I'm ready to ditch my baseline cobra which goes off for everything...so I don't even pay attention to it anymore

My first choice is a valentine v1, but I'm open to other options

    thanks

V1, no other compares. The directional arrows are key.

I have 9500ix and a redline. Both are great. the ix only makes noise if it is a radar

I'm not going to pass on it, but if I do, I'll post up or PM you. I'm out of MA currently but will be picking it up when I return.

A bunch of my friends have the 9500ix and love it. Seems like a great radar. I like the voice feature.

I have the 9500ix along with k40. Added the 9500ix for GPS features of redlight/speed cams and also keeps updated with speed traps. Learns false signals quickly. Since I keep both on I can compare them and the 9500 always picks up before the k40

Good thing about the K40 is the external install, so it won't interfere with an in car detector

My dad has a k40 and I cant stand the thing as compared to the 9500ix. the 9500 sits nice an quite until it needs to make noise the k40 just is one false alarm after another

Yeah. I hardwired into my car with the concealed display....awesome unit.

I bought it from him as he was at work at his pizza place

Him: Hey, are you here for the thing

    Me: yeah...

Him *hands me take out box*

Me: *hands him large wad of cash*

    Exits.

Wouldn't be surprised if a customer reported the place as a drug front
