After the untimely death of my Jeep I needed another winter car... Had to have AWD, Room for people an luggage, and the power of the mighty Jeep 5.9L, and be practical and economical DD. Clearly this was my first choice....

So I lost my VAGinity and got an 08 RS4. So far I love it and it seems more fun than the e92 M3 was. More nimble and WAY better brakes... oh and I finally realize what torque is now. Its missing some of the comforts of the M3 but I like the Audi interface better than idrive so I will have to live without comfort access and push start and LED lights. Plans for it include Milltek exhaust, tint, maybe a slight drop and some spacers to start. Then maybe blacking some stuff out... I am not really familure with places to get Audi parts other than AWE, Stasis, 034 so some help would be appreciated. Oh and I LOVE the yellow!

Just went for a ride in this thing. Its Quite fast and quite loud in S mode for a stock car.

No props on who found car? I see how it is!

But really though, congrats on the new car. I know what you went through with insurance co. To get to this point.

Depending on what you're looking for, you might not want Milltek. They're widely known, but you don't really get the best bang for your buck. There are a TON of companies out there, but far and away the one that is most involved in the 4.2 scene is JHM.

You really can't go wrong if you call them up and say "one of everything, please!"
I'd recommend joining an Audi forum and seeing what the consensus is in terms of what's best.
Quattroworld is where all the hardcore people are, but I can't stand the board style, Audiworld has gone to the retards, and Audizine seems pretty solid but some sections are going downhill.

ok.... to answer a few questions.

My no1 choice would have been Orange for this car but those basically dont exist for sale right now. I just lucked out that Audi Burlington had a yellow one that is my 2nd choice. I really Wanted this a bright color for this. Big thanks to Benvie for finding this for me so close!.

For wheels I reeeeaaally like the stock wheels. Audi basically nailed it so I am going to keep them for a while before I even think of an upgrade.

I heard the AWE exhaust and its really a tough choice between it and the milltek. AWE seems to make the car sound like a big american V8 while the milltek sounds more like an exotic v8. Not sure what I like more at this point...

    vs.

No BMWs were harmed in the purchase of this Audi....

hmmm I like the AWE, not gonna lie... my experience with them is fitment isnt always perfect upon install and sometimes requires welding...

Having said that... I will give you good milltek price in combination with the other stuff we are already doing for you They were closed so I couldnt get prices

Crap.... more Audi competition Congrats, I loved my RS4. But rethink exhaust, went to many Audi shows and my Tubi sounded so much better than Milltek and Pete can get you a Tubi
