Steering Wheel Options

Well since my car is down for a while, I don't think it will be back until next season. So along with the motor swap it's getting a few more mods to make it more modern. Customized suede/tweed Recaro Sports are going in for front seats, and either some paint/CF/flocking is going to be done to the interior to change it up a bit. I also want to change my steering wheel. the OEM wheel in my car looks like it's for a bus and it looks really dated, not to mention it's starting to show its 20yr old age.
So I'm on the hunt for an aftermarket steering wheel. Ford had the FRPP wheel (similar to those in the 2003 10th anniversary Cobras) but they have been discontinued and now run $500.

My only requirements are that the colors match (black and silver), it's leather/suede or some combination of the two, and that it looks semi-OEM. That is the biggest factor for me. I really don't want a leather covered wheel with a simple bare metal center section, although that seems to be what 99% of wheels are.

So far I've been looking at Nardi/Personals and MOMOs.

The Momo Evo is the most OEM looking so right now that's kind of where I'm leaning.

That center piece is removable so I could get the center section painted body color or something like gunmetal.

really? dang yo that stock wheel is awful (not being an @sshole). I thought it was like that because of some old airbag BS. A steering wheel is going to do huge things for the inside of this car. The Hartge one I put in my M5 was a huge imporvement. This is going to be like night and day.

I know it's awful, I don't like anything about it except the actual grip on the wheel. It's firm but soft at the same time.
I'm going to lose my cruise control but I've never actually used it because it never worked. Could be only a fuse or something but I never bothered to check.

I like the Momo fighter or the sparco d-shape. Thats just me. I find the size and the grips matter the most to me, form follows function. I like smaller diameter wheels, so it limits my personal choices.

Looks like I can get the EVO for about $300 and the hub for an SN95 Mustang for another $100. I'll probably pull the trigger on this once the motor stuff is done, maybe I'll get lucky and the wheel price will drop too.
